Studio Amargo

Ever since her childhood in Mexico, Laura has been drawn to paper and pencil for drawing. With this passion in mind, she decided to study fine arts at AKV St. Joost in 's-Hertogenbosch. Through her intensive engagement with art, Laura began to absorb the ideas and inspiration from her creative environment and translate them into images. Her focus is on designs that initially appear simple but, upon closer inspection, reveal their underlying complexity. Her primary medium is screen printing, as it allows her to establish a direct connection with each individual print. To bring art and technology together on a long-term basis, Laura founded her printmaking studio, Studio Amargo.
